Partition magic does not work in windows vista. So we need a alternative way to make or resize partition in windows vista without losing data. The good news is that we don't need any partition software for vista because windows vista can manage your partition resizing.

To resize partition in vista we need to follow these steps - but be sure that to backup any important information, because there is a small chance to lost your data when u doing ur resize work.



1) Click on the start Menu
2) Right click on computer and click on manage as like as  picture.

3) You  get a user account control dialogue box , just continue it  ( Maybe) 

4) In teh left panel , open the storage category and click Disk Management 

5) Here you u will find ur partition for ur disks. Right click on the partition you would like to modify .

6) Click on Extend Volume or Shrink Volume to extend or resize the partition.
